In Kennel Training

First Friend acknowledges the fact some of you neither have the time, patience, or inclination to train your dog. To solve this dilemma we provide In Kennel Training. Your dog is housed on our premises and professionally trained. At the completion of training, you are given a private lesson on how to handle the dog so your only responsibility is reinforcement.

With our In Kennel Training we at First Friend K9 Training offer the opportunity for your “First Friend” to not only be trained in our 3000 square foot facility, but also to be trained inside and outside four retail establishments all within walking distance of our facility. This raises the expectations of the dog’s obedience and social behavior along with solidifying your “First Friend’s” stellar accomplishments. A five acre field is also at our disposal to reinforce greater and more reliable distance training.

We at First Friend K9 also know that some dogs will need specialized in home training after their In Kennel Training stay. We are able to offer you the service of delivery of your “First Friend” to your home and we will spend 1 ˝ hours (minimum) with you and your family to help make the transition smooth.*

Four weeks is the amount of time we consider necessary for a pet owner to have control of their dog.
You receive a free Novice Obedience Class (a $99 value) after four weeks of In Kennel Training, along with a complimentary groom (bath, brush out, ear cleaning, and nail trim) for your pet.
