Novice Class

Congratulations Novice Class Graduates

Congratulations to all the dogs and handlers that graduated from Novice Class on Tuesday January 26,2010. First Friend looks forward to seeing you all in advanced class as well as agility class.

Linda and Katie (left) were the winners of the fasted dog during our recall contest and won a new 3 ft leather traffic lead. Julia with Max (right) was one of the youngest handlers First Friend has ever graduated, Julia is an awesome handler at only 5 years old!

First Friend's pet training classes are designed to establish reliability to the commands of Heel with an automatic sit, as well as Come and Finish on command. The dog will also learn the commands of Sit, Down and Stand on command, as well as the essential Stay in all three of these positions (sit, down, and stand).

Obedience training is the foundation for correcting many of our pets behavioral problems. It is not a total panacea but gives you a level of communication and understanding that makes solving and preventing these problems considerably easier.

This class is an 8 week 10 hour course that requires the dog to be a minimum of 5 1/2 months of age.

The fee for this class is $99.00

To register for one of our classes, simply call and set up a consultation appointment so that we can meet your puppy beforehand. We offer appointments Monday through Friday during the day or have evening hours Monday through Thursday between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. Our number is 317-842-4199.
